@Manny - Is it not true that the performance of Lena in Baku is indicated in a vague fashion only by one blog, and that none of the 5 past winners has ever publicly said that they will perform, or even attend? (I include Eurovsion.tv and Eurovision.de as one blog.) Danke.

eurovision.de and eurovision.tv are the official sites of the Eurovision Song Contest. Their facts are believable, but Lena had no more information about her appearance until I asked the last time. But since some minutes I know it's fix. Lena will be part of the semi-final.

Thank you for the update. I was skeptical as I know that the sites are official, but also under the current control of az. To say the least, it is unusual for personalities at the level of Lena to be "informed" about her own appearance less than 2 weeks in advance. People have other schedules, and it seems the way this was done shows a negative side of the hosts. I also hope that Lena and the other performers are allowed artistic independence, and independence in all aspects.

(I had gotten the impression that the public was "informed" before Lena was "informed." My same impression applies to all of the past winners. Things like this do not stay secret.)
