Der von dir verlinkte "nette Holländer" kopiert auf youtube alles und generiert damit clicks-;)
Aus Versehen waren mehrere Songs ( nicht nur die beabsichtigten 2 ) des Steamboat Springs Concert auf vimeo für kurze Zeit öffentlich und direkt wird etwas von ihm auf youtube hochgeladen.
Seitdem wurden keine Videos dieses Konzertes von Emily Bear selber mehr veröffentlicht. Sie waren anscheinend nicht begeistert.
Dieser Accountinhaber ist besonders "frech" da er Menschen, die einfach nur ein amateurhaftes Cover auf youtube uploaden sehr per Kommentar angeht, aber sich selber ...
Und in jedem Kommentar verlinkt er zu seinem Account:suspekt:

Obwohl Mutter Andrea Bear ist auch ausgebildete Musicaldarstellerin. ( Universität Michigan)
Natürlich ist der Auftritt nicht so "perfekt" wie die Auftritte von Jackie Evancho. Vergleicht man jedoch die Auftritte bei Queen Latifah so wurden bei Emily Bear keinerlei technische Hilfsmittel eingesetzt. -;), eben völlig ungekünzelt.
Noch ein paar Jahre Übung mit Nikki Yanofsky, Siedah Garrett etc... es reicht ja auch, wenn sie in 10 Jahren eine Art neue Diana Krall ist.-;)

In einer der ersten Sendungen von Queen Latifah trat wohl auch Tochter Will Smith auf - Mama ist Produzentin- der Auftritt Autotune....

Aber was ich gut finde ist das durch Youtube Leute bekannt werden die früher kaum über ihr direktes Umfeld hinaus Beachtung gefunden hätten, ist auch vieles dabei was durchs Sieb fällt, aber was sich lohnt findet dann auch weltweit Beachtung. Wie der von einigen hier so geliebte K-Pop.

Das Trittbrettfahrer auch partizipieren ist nun mal systemimmanent und muss man in kauf nehmen, sonst kommt man schnell auf die Zensurschiene.

Wenn man sich mal so im Netz umsieht dann ist Emily nicht die einzige in diesem Kaliber (hat wohl nur die bessere Promotion).
Da gibt es z.B. Brianna Kahane die spielt Violine und Klavier dazu kommt noch Komposition, ist z.Z. 11 Jahre.
Aber da gibt es noch eine ganze Menge weitere Talente und wieviele bleiben auf der Strecke weil sie nicht die Möglichkeiten haben ihr Talent zu entwickeln.

Ja, sorry, da es schon etwas zurücklag das ich die beiden gefunden hatte hab ich Alma und Brianna vertauscht, mein Fehler.

Zu dem zweiten Punkt, ich will damit ja nur sagen das vermutlich ein sehr großes Volumen an Talenten nie in Erscheinung treten wird.
Es kann ja nicht sein das bei 7 Mrd. Menschen große Talente nur in 1ppb vorkommen.

Es sind jetzt nicht die Berliner oder New Yorker Philarmoniker, scheint ein Orchester zu sein, welches sich einmal oder wenige Male im Jahr aus Musikern verschiedener Qualität der USA zusammensetzt. Sie treten durchaus mit Weltklassemusikern auf. ist aber natürlich etwas anderes als ein Orchester was regelmäßig zusammenspielt. Dann hatten sie ja auch noch Tschaikowsky 5. Symphony etc.

Ich fand es ganz witzig die Musiker 2 Jahre älter zu sehen. Die Nachwuchsviolonisten, die bei "Silent Night" vor 2 Jahren eine kurzen Solopart hatten, waren anscheinend auch dieses Jahr im Orchester dabei.

Schau dir mal bei youtube das Video von Umi Garrett "Schumann Klavierkonzert" an. Die 2. Violinistin hat die falschen Noten und merkt es erst im Stück-;) Da sind wirklich Welten zwischen "prodigy" und Orchester.

Justin Kauflins CD release startet jetzt, Alfredo Rodriguez ist im Moment für einen Grammy nominiert.

Was ich an sich ausdrücken wollte ist, das ich den Eindruck habe das man Emily in eine "Schublade" mit z.B. Mozart stecken kann.
Ist ja kaum möglich das die "alten Meister" einen "Alleinstellungsanspruch" haben, es wird immer wieder Menschen mit solchen oder noch größeren Fähigkeiten geben.
Was mir allerdings auffällt das heute deutlich mehr an die Oberfläche gespült werden, liegt wohl 1. daran das es mehr Menschen gibt und 2. die modernen Medien, vor allem das Web, für schnelle und breite Bekanntschaft sorgen.

Diese Mozart Vergleiche stoßen mich eher ab. Mozart, Beethoven - viele vergessen aber vor allem Johann Sebastian Bach sind in soweiten Umlaufbahnen über allem.
Mozart hört sich leicht an und das ist da gerade das schwierige. Es steckt so viel in dieser Musik.
Der englische Dirigent Gardiner zitierte in einer Bach Doku mal ein literarischess Zitat, dass jemand vorgeschlagen habe, dass man den Außerirdischen einfach die gesammelten Werke von J.S. Bach sollte. Der Vorschlag sei abgelehnt worden, da das angeberisch sei.
Die modernen Medien spülen einerseits viele Talente an die Oberfläche, aber Vergleiche sind, oft aus Unkenntnis, zu schnell gesetzt.
Man muss abwarten und diese Vergleiche sind - so glaube ich, eher einer Emily Bear oder Alma Deutscher peinlich, weil sie das Wissen haben.
Außerdem ist jeder anders oder wie Alma Deutscher es in einem US Fernsehinterview ausdrückte. Es wäre langweilig ein weiblicher Mozart zu sein. Sie würde gerne sie selber sein, Alma. Neues schaffen.

und prompt packten sie die US Medien ja auch in dieses Schublade, Obama, aus Chicago stammend hat sie ja auch angeblich auch als "Baby Mozart" bezeichnet. das wurde natürlich direkt von Quincy Jones oft genug erzählt.
Du befindest dich also in guter Gesellschaft.

Aber dieser Mozart Vergleich wird doch direkt überall geäußert, besonders in den USA.

Selbst Zuill Bailey äußert sich ja so, du kann ja jetzt diese Satzgebilde übernehmen;)

Aber wie gesagt, ich nehme das alles nicht so ernst,da ich nicht glaube, dass sie selber sich mit dem Erwachsenen Mozart vergleicht. Oft erscheint es, dass ihr der Hype ein bisschen peinlich ist, da dieses Talent einfach zu ihrem normalen Leben gehört, sie damit aufgewachsen ist.

Ob sie/ Alma Deutscher oder irgendjemand anderer mal in diesen Regionen in 100 Jahren eingeordnet wird, werden wir alle nicht mehr erleben.

Das Ausmaß ihres Talentes is ja auch unglaublich - ich habe ja schließlich diesen Thread gestartet, aber Mozart, Bach, Beethoven ...da müssen wir auf die Wiedergeburt warten.

Ein weiblicher Louis Armstrong am Klavier wäre auch nicht schlecht-;)

Ganz witzig war, dass jemand, der gestern da war, es auch beklagt, dass in der Regel keine Vinyls mehr produziert weden, da der Eindruck eines Live Konzerts durch keine CD oder Video erreicht werden könne.
Ich kann übrigens, das von mir verlinkte Podcast des Iowa Public Radios nur empfehlen, die Soundqualität und die Qualität des Klaviers ist toll.

"I received a special email from a father from Zurich, Switzerland writing about his daughter who has Cerebral Palsy who saw my music videos on youtube and decided she wanted to learn to play the piano so she could play music that I composed - and how they found a teacher who would work with her and how she learned "Northern Lights" and played it in a piano recital and that for her 18th Birthday they were surprising her with a trip to IOWA (!!) to see me perform! Cannot even begin to tell you how special it was to meet Charlene and her family after the concert and how inspired I am by them!"

2003 kehrte Schwartz an den Broadway zurück und produzierte dort das Musical Wicked – Die Hexen von Oz, das auf Gregory Maguires Roman Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West basiert. Schwartz erhielt einen Grammy Award für seine Arbeit als Komponist/Textdichter und Produzent zu dem daraus entstandenen Album.

"Liquid Sky", an original composition by Emily Bear is the 1st original song in the Second Saturday Song Series - where Emily takes suggestions for song ideas to compose to and posts a new song each second Saturday of each month. The inspiration for this song comes from the Swarmations of the Starling birds - where at sunset at certain times of the year tens of thousands of starling birds fly together as one. Enjoy!!

Ja, die zwei sind ja auch nicht gleich L. Hahn scheint ja nicht zu komponieren sondern ist wohl eher Interpret und dazu multiinstrumental,
was noch dazu kommt vielsprachig, wobei Chinesisch noch ziemlich das härtest ist.

Sie hatte aber doch bei ihrem 1. Auftritt bei Raab etwas komponiert und beim 2. Lang Lang Video ( siehe TV Total Thread) etwas eigenes beim Auftritt in China vorgespielt.

Das Problem des Nachwuchs Konzertpianisten ist, dass in jedem Jahrgang warscheinlich eine 3 stellige Anzahl von "Wunderkindern", weltweit auf die große Karriere hofft. Wenn du dann noch überlegst, dass es höchstens 10 - 20 Pianisten insgesamt weltweit gibt, die man zur internatiomalen Spitze zählt, dann kannst du dir ja ausrechnen, wie hoch die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist, dass man es dorthin schafft.
An den großen internationalen Wettbewerben, die es auch in ihrem Alter schon gibt, hat sie ja noch nicht teilgenommen und da ist sie erst einmal nichts besonderes.

In 10 - 20 Jahren weiß man mehr ;)

Erst Justin Kauflin mit Trio in Bestform und dann noch mal getoppt von Emily Bear Trio - zusätzlich mit einem spitzen jungen deutschen Cellisten unter unglaublichen Bedingungen, als wären wir mitten im Regenwald des Amazonas.

2 neue Songs und am Ende Take 5 Impro mit Peter Slavov und Mark McLain als Zugabe der Zugabe.

Das Bix wurde gerockt :) Die Musiker waren völlig erschöpft...

Drei Bühnen - fünf acts (II)
Auch am Dienstag standen die jazzopen im Zeichen erstklassiger Vielfalt. The Bad Plus Joshua Redman bewiesen dem fachkundigen Publikum im Mercedes-Benz Museum, warum die für eine Welttour entstandene Formation zweier Schwergewichte des american contemporary Jazz derzeit zum Maß der Dinge in der Szene gehört. Danach kann nur noch erste Klasse weiter helfen, alles andere wäre ein Abstieg. Marcus Miller, ein seltener Gast bei den jazzopen, führte durch sein jüngstes, stark mit afrikanischen Elementen befeuertes Album. So mal eben zwischendurch interpretiert der Weggefährte von Miles Davis den Welthit "Papa was a Rolling Stone" auf großartige Weise: "the first Bass Line I have learned with 6 years...". Standing ovations trotzten dem einsetzenden Regen.
Der Amerikaner Brad Mehldau dürfte das derzeit weltweit beste Klaviertrio anführen. Mit minimalistisch anmutendem Klavierspiel beginnende Tracks führt der Ausnahmepianist in der Sparda Welt hin zu furiosen "Finales". Bravo Brad!
Gleichzeitig bewiesen Justin Kauflin und Emily Bear im brechend vollen BIX Jazzclub, warum man sich um die Zukunft des gepflegten Klavier-Jazz keine Sorgen zu machen braucht. Die beiden von Quincy Jones protegierten Musiker brachten mit ihren Trios das teilweise von weit her angereiste Bix-Publikum zunächst zum Staunen - und schnell zum Jubeln. J

Was das Musical Album "Doctor Zhivago" (Broadway Cast) betrifft, so finde ich die weibliche Stimme fürchterlich.

After his tenure with Rodgers, Farber recorded James Taylor’s albums “Never Die Young” and "New Moon Shine." This song is dedicated to a very special person - About a year ago, I received a special email from a father from Zurich, Switzerland writing about his daughter who has Cerebral Palsy who saw my music videos on youtube and decided she wanted to learn to play the piano so she could play music that I composed - and how they found a teacher who would work with her and how she learned "Northern Lights" and played it in a piano recital and that for her 18th Birthday they surprised her with a trip to IOWA (!!) to see me perform at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center! Cannot even begin to tell you how special it was to meet Charlene and her family after the concert and how inspired I am by them! This past summer, Charlene & her family came to Stuttgart when I played at Jazzopen Stuttgart and we got to see each other again & now Charlene is working on "Ellen's Song" for an upcoming concert. This is for you Charlene! Thank you for inspiring me!!!
