I had such an amazing night opening up for the LEGEND that is #BurtBacharach . What a nice man!! His catalogue is just endless! He has always been one of my favourite songwriters of all time. I can't get over this!!!

Das war auch meine erste Reaktion. Der Anfang ist fürchterlich. Aber anscheinend ist es jetzt üblich bei den Produzenten der Discount-Popmusik die Stimme, mag sie noch so gut sein, mit elektronischem einfallslosem Schrott zu verfremden. Man kann so schön am Computer Knöpfe drücken und wichtig aussehen, auch wenn man von Musik keine Ahnung hat.

Wir haben doch bei Lena im Refrain von Traffic Lights oder bei meisten Songs des Albums und besonders bei dem einen fürchterlich produzierten, viel zu hohen Song, die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht. Anscheinend denken diese Produzenten, unsere Interessenten sind 6-14 Jahre alt, also müssen auch die Stimmen wie Ken und Barbie oder wie Quietscheentchen klingen.
Auch von der Produktion ist es ja nur ein Mischmasch des Dancefloors der letzen 20 Jahre, nichts Innovatives, wäre wahrscheinlich ein typischer ESC Beitrag. ;)

Zur Stimme: in den Strophen erkennst du Stimme noch rudimentär, ansonsten könnte das irgendwer sein.

Felix Cartal hat wohl bei der letzten Juno Verleihung (kanadischer Echo) einen Juno bekommen. Vielleicht hat der Song - leider - Erfolg - zumindest in Kanada.

Wenn die Käufer nur noch an billigstes Fastfood gewöhnt werden, muss sich die Musikindustrie nicht fragen, warum keiner mehr bereit ist, dafür Geld auszugeben. 4 Wochen Hit und ab damit in die Mülltonne..
