Lenas Text zu "Love Me"

Weil es Lenas Text ist, ist das einen eigenen Thread wert imho. Wenn ich's richtig verstehe, geht der ungefähr so. (Bei der Stelle mit "if you're happy to give it a try" bin ich mir nicht sicher, das vernuschelt sie unglaublich...)

Ich find's gar nicht schlecht! Ist ziemlich sinnfrei, aber das sind 90% aller Pop-Lovesong-Texte, darunter einige der allerbesten. Es geht nur um die Frage, ob es plumper Unsinn oder eleganter Unsinn ist, und ich find's - für den ersten veröffentlichten Versuch! - ziemlich elegant. Okay, der Refrain, an dem kann man noch arbeiten. Aber die Strophen sind echt vielversprechend: "So many flames that I could have lighted / But I don't like to because I'm too excited" hat sogar Binnenreime...
